Impact story

2nd Annual Walk Your Worries Away Walkathon

Wilderness Oak Elementary School, San Antonio, TX, October 25, 2025.

A Hope For Triumph volunteer walking through a cheer tunnel at the Walk Your Worries Away Walkathon

The walkathon brought an entire community together, neighbors, students, local businesses, and families in treatment walking the same course. Twelve cancer survivors were honored with personal gifts and given a moment to share their stories aloud. Steady rain never stopped the day: every participant finished the full course.

The $12,000 raised went straight back into direct programs for families in active treatment, care packages, free home cleanings, and art therapy sessions.
